RE: [epilepsy] Complex partial seizures and urinating

Hi

When I have a seizure which is very rarely, I have to be put
in the recovery position, I can't describe it, but maybe
someone on here can describe it from a sighted persons point
of view.

Regards

Adrien

My son does the same thing. What is the best way to
position them so they do not choke during the seizure, esp
when vomiting?

My son has the same type of seizures and sometimes urinates
on himself when he has a seizure. Sometimes he throws up as
well.

Hello All,

I have been absent for a while but would like to get some
feedback from you. My husband suffers from Complex partial
seizures. For the very first time, yesterday he urinated on
him self while having one. He was completely unaware of what
he did and didn't remember it at all. This has never
happened before and I'm wondering if this is common among
others? He has been on so many different combinations of
medicines the drs are pretty much at a loss and cannot not
seem to control his seizures. He is not a candidate for
surgery so I feel as tho we are helpless. I'd love any
feedback you can give me (us).

Sincerely,
V
