I take neurontin and baclofen. Been trying to get back on avonex but am in a battle with my insurance company at the moment. They've increased my copay to $200 a month. When I was on the avonex before I had no copay at all.
My mom is still able to do things for herself. Other than make decisions that is. Our middle brother has been basically abusing her but we're unable to prove it. She comes to us crying about how pushy he is, he yells and screams at her, pounds his fists on the table etc. Then when we get her to her lawyer and she tells him whats going on and how she wants his POA revoked she tells middle brother about it and he comes over begging for forgiveness and says he only wants whats best for her, cries to her etc. Then he pulls these stunts like on friday he went to her bank and threw a fit in there demanding that they allow him to close out her accounts. WHen flashing his POA didn't work because my oldest brother is coowner he then dragged mom in there to empty her accounts and her safe deposit box.
Its a big mess and I can't deal with it anymore. I don't have the health or strength to keep this going back and forth with my abusive brother. I put up with his madness as a child and I don't have to have that in my life now. Mom wasn't much better to us growing up and this brother is acting just as mom always has. What goes around comes around. Let the 2 of them have at themselves. I'm tired of it all. Mom calls me begging for help, calls oldest brother begging for help, complains about this middle brother and how nasty he is to her and when we take her for help she goes right back and brings him back into her life again.
I have 3 kids with medical issues as well as myself. RIght now my focus is on my kids. At the current time our oldest has this siezure or fainting spell. we don't know which. And that needs to be taken care of first and foremost.
Thanks for any tips on what tests or symptoms to look out for. I've read that seizures can vary in intensity and how they look so this is pretty confusing.
