[epilepsy] Re: New Here



Megan had a "limp" generalized seizure once, and her neuro said they
are called atonic seizures. I'm not exactly sure about the roots or
exact meanings of the words, but you can see that the word atonic
means "without tonic" or lacking the stiff muscle spasms
characteristic of tonic clonic seizures (used to be called grand mal.)
