Jewl, how does that work for people who have had epilepsy since they
were young? Megan works part time at our golf course, but that is
limited and far from enough money to support one's self. She earns a
couple thousand dollars during the season, which basically gives her
some spending money during the school year. Her father and basically
support her at this point, but that is obviously not something we
will always be able to do, and we've scarcely anything saved up for
our own retirement years, due to her medical bills and such
(obviously, all of our expenses aren't due to Megan).
It's taking me a long time to get there, but she doesn't have much
work history and has never been able to work full time hours, as
fatigue is one of her main triggers. So would she automatically get
less money because she has basically had seizures all of her working
years and such limited work history?
Thanks for any info you can provide.
Tammy
