usually you have to have a couple of different things wrong, for example extreme anxiety, depression among others. make sure you go to your regular doc and have these things well documented. This may take several appointments. i dealt with this for only a little less than a year and then i applied for disability. i filled out all the paper work with some help but without a lawyer and was approved in about 6 month. for some reason ep wont get it alone, but these other things will. i also know that in the state of CA, you can work and collect at the same time, which hellps and you can still earn up to 10 thous. a year, orf they can help you find a job. good luck i hope i helped some.
