Hello All.
My name is Carly and I've recently found this group after looking for several months for local support groups. My boyfriend has had epilepsy for 27 years, and in 1997 had a left temporal lobectomy. He's on a slue of medications and his doctors want to admit him for monitoring for up to nine days.
I am having a hard time coping with the mood swings, constant anxiety, and irritability that my bf displays before or after a seizure. Does anyone know of a support group near Boston? I am thinking about forming a group here for parents with Epilepsy so others who may need help while their loved ones are in the hospital have an option.
Thank you.
