[epilepsy] Re: SSI

My 5 yr old son has E and receives social security. You can go to your local social security office and pick up the forms. Or you can go to www.socialsecurity.gov and apply for disability. Have all your sons drs and therapist info ready when you do this. You can save all your info and come back to it, but the faster the better. Keep all appts they send you and if you get a denial, be sure to appeal. I have 3 disabled children (all for different reasons) and I can tell you that sometimes ththis is an easy and fast process and sometimes it can take a lot of fighting and time. Don't give up.
